How Do Organizations Measure Up?

Employee engagement is at a critical juncture. After years of conducting engagement surveys, organizations are finding that improving employee engagement is a lot more difficult than measuring it. And while surveys have initially helped organizations to identify areas that needed to be addressed, making progress in these key areas has proven to be difficult, a fact that is reinforced by this study.

In reviewing the data in this study, there were several findings that were surprising to the research team. The first was that there was relatively little difference in the data of small companies when compared to large companies. On the contrary, large and small organizations faced the same challenges when it came to attempting to create positive change as a result of the data they captured.
