CareDx

CareDx, Inc. was offering leadership training to their staff in Omaha, Nebraska. The Brisbane, California corporate office had been delivering the First-Time Manager program in face-to-face sessions. They were pleased with results they had received in California and decided to roll out the program to other locations. Then COVID-19 disrupted all their plans.

“I didn’t want to miss the opportunity to train our staff, and I knew Blanchard offered the program in a virtual learning experience,” says Jere Ramsey Lester, human resources business partner. “I admit I had some doubts because I knew the experience wouldn’t be the same as a classroom setting. But I went through the virtual program personally, and I was delighted. The entire process ran like a well-oiled machine. With just the right amount of pre-work before the class, and with two-hour online sessions, people stayed completely engaged. Participants thought it was not only fun but also a great learning experience. And they were grateful to be able to take the course despite the challenging restrictions of COVID-19.”
